2012 Update

2012 State and National Cup update
The 2012 State and National Cups kicked off on Sunday, January 8 with first and second round action in the Stewart Cup (Maryland State Tournament). In second round play, the Baltimore Kickers took on the Washington Premier League's Mando Ramos F.C. Unfortunately for the Kickers they came up short, dropping the match 2-0.
A week later on Sunday, January 15, in another Maryland State fixture, the Kickers battled a familiar foe in Charm City F.C. in the second round of the Rowland Cup. Baltimore and Charm City competed against each other twice in the 2011 fall Maryland Major Soccer League, with Charm City getting the best of the Kickers both times. Baltimore hoped to change their luck and advance in the Rowland Cup but, fell 5-1.
Recently on Sunday, February 12, the Kickers began play in the prestigious U.S. Open Cup against Christos F.C. Baltimore fought hard but, crashed out of the National tournament, 3-1.
Baltimore will be looking to break their slump and bring home some medals to add to their Clubhouse with upcoming matches in the U.S. Amateur Cup (Sunday, February 26) and Over 30 Cups (Maryland and National game dates TBA).
